3D Business Analyst Book

3D Business Analysis is a unique fusion of three distinct specialties - business analysis (BA), project management (PM) and lean six sigma (LSS) - with traditionally separate skill sets and career paths. However, when the components of these skill sets are analyzed and understood, a clear

overlap emerges, and if used together, they provide the BA with the necessary concepts, theories and terminologies to allow him or her to communicate more effectively with stakeholders using their specific language, realize expectations and add more value to the organization.

FAQ

  • What is Business Analysis? And who is a Business Analyst?
Business Analysis is the discipline of identifying the business needs and determining solutions to business problems. Solutions often include a system development component, but may also consist of process improvement, organizational change, strategic planning or policy development. The person who carries out this task is called a Business Analyst or BA.

In other words, the Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) who have a business problem or opportunity and technology people who know how to create solutions for business process improvement. You might want to think of the business analyst as a translator who speaks several languages. Without the BA, different team members will not be able to communicate with each other.
  • Do I have to learn coding?
Not at all. Business analyst is a technology management position. You will not be doing any programming. As a BA, you will be working with developers (who are actually writing the code) to explain the features that this application needs to have based on your understanding from your meetings with the business people.
  • What are the requirements to join the bootcamp?
Your computer and an internet connection. And on top of that, your passion to learn and hard work. Business analysis is a very interesting discipline that you will enjoy learning. All we need from you is your 100% commitment to your classwork and assignments. Just leave the rest to us. We will provide you with all the materials you need, including a free copy of the Amazon best-selling book 3D Business Analyst.
  • Are there enough jobs in the U.S. market? And how much does a BA earn?
Well, here is what CNN Money has to say about BA jobs. It ranks business analysis as one of the BEST JOBS IN AMERICA with the highest pay. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS), employment of management analysts is expected to increase by 24% through 2018, largely due to the fast-growing IT industry.
